CIRCL Update: Register Now to be a Presenter in the STEM for All Video Showcase

Dear Colleague,

We wanted to give you a quick heads up on several opportunities that have rapidly approaching deadlines.

Video Showcase

2020 STEM for All Video Showcase. Do you have a federally funded project aimed at improving STEM or CS learning and teaching in formal or informal environments? If so, we encourage you to be a presenter in the 2020 STEM for All Video Showcase. You must register to present by February 10. The showcase will take place May 5-12. Videos from the showcase will be added to the STEM for All Multiplex after the May event. Learn more and register to present.

NSF CS for All Solicitation. The new NSF CS for All solicitation invites proposals on both research and researcher-practitioner partnerships (RPPs) that foster the research and development needed to bring CS and CT to all schools. Proposals are due by April 13, 2020.

ED/IES SBIR Solicitation. The new ED/IES SBIR Phase I solicitation invites proposals up to $200,000 and 8 months for the development of education technology prototypes to improve student, teacher, or administrator outcomes in education and special education. Proposals are due by 11 am Eastern on March 3, 2020.

ISLS Fellow Nominations. The deadline for the Call for ISLS Fellow Nominations has been extended to February 7, 2020.

Karen King Memorial. NSF is organizing a memorial to Karen King at NSF on February 3. They are also compiling a memory book for her family and are asking for submissions of photos and stories from PIs for the compilation.
