CIRCL invites proposals for a series of CIRCL-funded workshops to continue the conversation about innovative genres in cyberlearning and to synthesize our work to help researchers engage in the next set of questions for our field. Workshops should take place in Fall 2017 or early 2018. We are especially interested in workshop topics and themes that align with one or more of the NSF Big Ideas or another similar frame for impact.
If you are interested in leading or co-leading a workshop, please complete and submit the pre-proposal form by May 5. CIRCL will review the pre-proposals in May and decide which groups to ask for a more detailed proposal due in early June. Some groups with similar or complementary ideas may be asked to join forces.
Application: Workshop Pre-proposal form
Due date: May 5, 2017
CIRCL expects to fund approximately 4-6 workshops at around $40,000 – $50,000 each. The workshops will need to produce a written report as one of the outcomes.
This opportunity was first announced at Cyberlearning 2017. It was also posted to the open CIRCL Announcement List and through CIRCLCenter on Twitter.
