The goal of this expertise exchange is to provide opportunities for interactive knowledge sharing and discussions on these issues related design and research on computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL). We will provide a brief overview of affordances technology for CSCL for and then will have several simultaneous tables to discussion particular topics. Topics for discussion include:

  1. Designing for CSCL
  2. Evaluating the quality of collaborative activity
  3. Coding schemes for different levels of analysis
  4. Analytics of CSCL – Textmining and temporal approaches
  5. Using data on CSCL to improve collaboration
