PIs of NSF-funded projects with a cyberlearning theme are given the opportunity to nominate a non-Principal Investigator “buddy” (teacher, informal educator, technologist, designer, graduate student, etc.) who can jointly attend the meeting and enrich our deliberations. Interest in bringing a buddy is typically very high. A subset of nominees will be invited to apply, and selection is competitive. A list of buddies accepted to CL19 will appear here when it is available.
Notes for Buddy Participants
CIRCL will hold an online orientation meeting for Cyberlearning 2019 Buddies covering the following topics.
- An overview of the program and the different types of sessions
- The roles you can take on at the meeting
- Reimbursement for travel and hotel
- An optional pre-event evening group dinner opportunity
