We are investigating whether interactive digital rails can foster visitor curiosity and engagement around the authentic artifacts and specimens in a natural history museum, like The Field Museum in Chicago.

Digital technologies offer new windows into the activities of learners. We will gather interested parties to discuss different emerging techniques for documenting, characterizing, and measuring learning across both formal and informal contexts.
